About
SG Stocks Brief is an independent personal project for Singapore retail investors — a convenience layer over publicly available SGX corporate- announcement data, with downloadable price/volume histories and an optional AI summariser for annual reports and AGM minutes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) or any of the companies listed on this site.
What you can do here
- Browse AGM/EGM, dividend, results, and other-announcement calendars, with links straight back to the underlying SGX or company pages.
- Open a company page for the full price & event history. Pick one date range (2W / 3M / 1Y / 3Y) and both the price chart and the event table follow it, and download the data as a CSV spreadsheet — daily OHLCV prices, traded volume, and dated announcements — for use in Excel or your own analysis tool.
- See the Top Movers screens — the biggest short- and medium-term price movers across tracked SGX names, each with a short AI commentary note on what's been driving the move.
- Practise with a simulated paper-trading portfolio — place pretend Buy/Sell orders from any company page at the latest close and track virtual cash, holdings, and profit/loss. No real money is involved.
- Use the AI summariser to turn 300-page annual reports or AGM minutes into a structured summary in seconds — key figures, dividends, outlook, risks, governance. 3 free summaries per account; more summaries will become available in future only if there is demand for it.
Coverage
The dataset covers all SGX Mainboard-listed companies plus a curated set of ETFs and unit trusts traded on SGX, backfilled to roughly four years. SGX announcements are refreshed about three times each weekday (around 9am, 7pm and 1am), while prices from Yahoo Finance are refreshed about nine times each weekday (around 1am, 9am, 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5.30pm and 7pm).
Data sources
- SGX website — primary source for announcements and corporate actions.
- Yahoo Finance website — primary source for stock price histories.
- Company investor-relations pages — fallback for report PDFs.
- A third-party AI service — used only by the AI summariser, and only on the PDF text you upload. We do not send anything else, and the PDF itself is not stored after the summary is generated.
Not investment advice
Nothing on this site is a recommendation, scoring, or rating. The calendars, downloadable spreadsheets, and AI summaries are information-organisation tools. Always verify against the original SGX filings before making any investment decision.
