By creating an account or using sgstocksbrief.com, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What this service is

sgstocksbrief.com is an information-organisation tool that re-presents publicly available SGX corporate announcements, price data from Yahoo Finance, and AI-generated summaries of user-uploaded filings. It is operated as a sole proprietorship by Loo Pin Mok in Singapore. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX), any issuer, or any of the data sources we link to.

1a. Where the data comes from

None of the data on this site is produced by us. It is collected automatically from the following public sources, and each remains the property of its owner:

• Singapore Exchange (SGX) — corporate announcements, AGM and EGM notices, dividend and results dates for Mainboard-listed companies, ETFs and unit trusts.
• Yahoo Finance — daily and intraday price history, dividend and distribution records, and the sector and industry classifications shown on company pages.
• SEC EDGAR — filings and filing links for US-listed securities.
• NYSE, Nasdaq and Cboe BZX — listing directories and price data for those exchanges.
• Reference publishers — glossary definitions are quoted from their original publisher, which is named and linked on each entry. Publishers used include SGX, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, IRAS, the Singapore Institute of Directors, Investopedia and the Corporate Finance Institute.
• DBnomics, the IMF, the World Bank and SingStat — the macroeconomic series on the Economy page.

We are not affiliated with any of them, and none of them has reviewed, endorsed or supplied this site with data under any agreement. Where a source publishes a correction or changes its figures, this site may continue to show the earlier value until it is next collected. If you own material that appears here and want it removed, email loopinmok@gmail.com and it will be taken down.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing on this site is financial advice, a recommendation, or a rating. AI summaries are abstractive — they may omit, paraphrase, or misrepresent details from the source document. Data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You must verify every figure, date, and statement against the issuer's own filings on SGX before making any investment decision. The service is provided "as-is" with no warranty of accuracy or completeness.

3. Acceptable use

By using the service you agree NOT to:

• Upload any document you do not have the legal right to process (e.g. material covered by a non-disclosure agreement, unauthorised copies of paywalled research, or documents containing the personal data of third parties).
• Scrape, crawl, or attempt to extract data from the service in bulk.
• Use the service to abuse, harass, or attack any person or system.
• Re-sell, white-label, or commercially redistribute generated summaries without our written permission.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent the free-tier limit.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with our infrastructure.

4. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding access to the email address used to sign in. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe to be involved in abuse, at our sole discretion and without notice.

5. Free tier and future paid plans

The free tier currently provides 1 AI summary per account, up to 300 pages. We reserve the right to change these limits with notice to registered users. Paid subscription plans, when introduced, will be subject to additional billing terms.

5a. Your summaries are private

Summaries you generate are private to your account. We do not publish them, share them with other users, or display them on any public page. They are visible only to you when signed in (and to our administrators for support and abuse-prevention purposes).

We may introduce a public, free-to-read summary library in the future. If we ever do, we will update these Terms and give registered users notice before any summary is made public, and publication will not apply retroactively to summaries you generated while this clause was in force.

6. Intellectual property

All trademarks, company names, and announcement content remain the property of their respective owners. AI summaries you generate from your own documents or selected public filings are yours to use; the underlying summariser technology and the site's code, design, and aggregated content remain our property.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to investment losses, missed opportunities, or reliance on summaries. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the total amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months (SGD 0 for free-tier users).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
